Anyone who’s seen the extremely patient and thorough work of writers and commenters at the science based climate blogs (start with RealClimate, Science of Doom and Skeptical Science and go from there) can see how often/ rarely this approach pays off. Being “positive and helpful” sometimes gets a thank you response, more often it just leads on to more and more silliness.
As for bridges, there are many approaches. We can build them. Councils and emergency workers can block access to dangerous ones. Other times the best thing is to blow them up.]]>
